Digital channel adoption led to a slow decline in traditional outbound marketing and a rise of inbound marketing. The emergence of new technologies and more sophisticated use of data has created a new need for marketers: point-of-sale (POS) marketing.
When Amazon suggests additional products to customers at checkout, or when Zillow offers pre-approved mortgages to site visitors viewing homes, they’re doing point-of-sale marketing. POS marketing requires speed of integration, speed of data analysis, and speed of decision. This session, moderated by Cornerstone Advisors Director of Research Ron Shevlin, will address this emerging trend and competency with leaders in the space.
