Doug Stockham is a co-founder of the Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc. (EAF), the leading 501(c)(3) US public charity designed solely to administer comprehensive disaster and hardship relief funds. At EAF’s founding, Doug conducted extensive research and analysis of more than 120 relief funds to create a set of industry best practices and benchmarks, which have been published and discussed in various white papers and blogs. EAF now administers 300+ Funds around the world, serving more than 10 million employees. In 2020, the organization awarded more than $100 million in grants to individuals experiencing financial hardship. Doug is also the founder of the Employee Relief Fund Education Group (ERFEG), an educational coalition and community of professionals aligned with the common goal of perfecting employee relief funds through the exchange of ideas, resources, knowledge, and best practices across a variety of industries. Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
