Phil Beavers is a 35-year veteran in finance, responsible for establishing alternative distribution channels within Truist’s merchant services, including value added reseller (VAR) and independent software vendor (ISV) relationships spanning retail, health, hospitality, auto, ecommerce, government, and B2B verticals. Previously, Phil led and managed BB&T’s $12 billion small business credit portfolio to drive risk-adjusted growth. He also was a director and lead consultant for ShoreBank International where he served more than 30 global financial institutions in Europe, Asia, Central America, and Africa, analyzing and advising clients on strategic planning and the development of profitable small and medium enterprise (SME) business models. Phil is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a double major in finance and risk management.
