Rebecca Walden is Vice President of Marketing for First American Payment Systems. In the role, she leads a team of payments industry marketing professionals in the development and execution of marketing strategy across the First American family of companies. Within the payments industry, Walden has served on both Wnet’s Marketing and Communications Committee and on ETA’s Communications Committee (Chair, 2019). In fall 2018, she was selected as one of 30 women out of more than 500 applicants for the inaugural class of Money 20/20’s Rise Up leadership accelerator program. Walden has also co-led Wnet’s Rise Up Chapter, comprised of Money 20/20 Rise Up Chapter graduates who are also active Wnet members. She currently serves on Wnet’s President’s Advisory Council. A former journalist and proven PR ace, Walden has worked with industry-specific journalists and mainstream media reporters for 20 years, placing her clients in top-tier media outlets including The Associated Press, CNN, National Public Radio, and The New York Times, among others. She also serves as a freelance writer and editor, contributing lifestyle content to brands including Reader’s Digest and Taste of Home.
