Renu Dalessandro

Chief Marketing Officer, Jovia FCU

Renu Dalessandro is the chief marketing officer at Jovia Financial Credit Union, where she oversees all aspects of the NY-based credit union’s marketing, public relations, community programs, member-focused initiatives and experiences. In addition, she oversees Retail Banking, and Member Experience (including Contact Center) areas within the Credit Union.

Jovia serves Long Island, NY (Nassau & Suffolk Counties) with $4B in assets, >200k members, and mission to become LI’s most innovative financial institution, all while being recognized as ‘Best in State’ Credit Union multiple times.

Since joining Jovia in May of 2019, she has been instrumental in overseeing the rebranding efforts leading into the official launch , and is tasked with building new audiences while delivering exceptional member experiences across myriad touchpoints. Her portfolio of responsibilities includes market research, member knowledge, sales and service under everything member experience, communications, social media, advertising and public relations. In addition, in furthering Jovia’s evolution toward being the region’s most innovative and member-centric credit union, Renu has overseen the roll out of a number of improvements to member services and building new data and digital marketing capabilities throughout the credit union.

Renu has 20 years of experience in the financial services space where she led Marketing for various National and Global banks in NY and has been determined to drive an innovative and transformative culture. She is a graduate of St. John’s University and was recently certified as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional. Renu enjoys cooking, traveling and spending family time with her husband and children in Long Island, NY.
