Chief Marketing Officer, Provident Bank
Robert Capozzoli is a Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Provident Bank, a $10 billion, New Jersey-based, financial institution that operates 84 branches in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. During his 18-year tenure at Provident, Robert has played a significant role in the transformation of the bank. In 2000, while Provident was a Mutual Savings Institution, he served as a Production Specialist in the Corporate Communications department. After Provident converted to a public company (NYSE: PFS) in 2003, Robert was recruited by the Marketing department to lead the bank’s digital marketing initiatives. In this position, he introduced the organization to the vast opportunities that digital advertising and social media would provide. Because of the successful implementation and execution of Robert’s digital marketing strategies, he was promoted to Director of Marketing in 2015.
In 2017, Robert was named to the bank’s Executive Leadership Team. He also serves as the bank’s Executive Sponsor and Chair of the Products and Services Committee. In addition, Robert is a member of the bank’s IT Steering Committee, Data Governance Committee, Pricing Committee, ALCO, Senior Risk Committee, Management Risk Committee, and is the former Chair of the FinTech Committee. He was recently named Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
