Stephen Fletcher
Director, Service and Fees Manager, Santander Bank
Stephen Fletcher is the Director of Fees & Services within the Consumer and Business Banking Deposit Products group at Santander Bank. Stephen and his team manage all Deposit Product related fees as well as deposit linked services such as Checkbooks, Overdraft, Overdraft Protection, Overdraft Line of Credit and Safe Deposit Box. With 13 years’ experience in the Banking industry, first with Santander UK and for the last 7 years with Santander US, Stephen has a strong data science and risk oversight background in addition to his product management skills.
After switching from an academic background in Astrophysics, Stephen started his financial industry career with Santander UK in 2010. He joined the Secured Lending Risk team as a Data Risk analyst before moving over to Unsecured Lending as Senior Risk analyst. In 2016, Stephen emigrated to the US where he continued his career with the Santander Group with Santander Bank N.A. Starting out in Deposit Risk, Stephen moved into Solvency Risk before taking up his current position within Deposit Product Management in 2019.
