Carefully read the following terms and conditions before registering for the 2018 Deluxe Exchange Event (the “Exchange”). These terms and conditions shall govern your attendance at the Exchange. By registering for the Exchange, you agree to be bound by the these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, then do not register for the Exchange.
The 2018 Deluxe Exchange Event is presented by Deluxe Financial Services, LLC (“Deluxe”).
Mixed Media Release
Deluxe plans to take photographs and video material at the Exchange and reproduce them in Deluxe educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the Exchange websites and social media. By participating in the Exchange, you grant the Deluxe the right to use your name, photograph and biography for such purposes. All photographs and video material become the property of the Deluxe and may be displayed, distributed or used by the Deluxe for any purpose.
Furthermore: I give Deluxe the right to crop, splice, treat and edit any photographs or video material taken of me at its sole discretion. I waive my right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me; and I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless Deluxe and its agents or employees, including any firm publishing and/or distributing the finished product in whole or in part, from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the use of the photographs or video material, including but not limited to any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or in the taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution.
Any Exchange attendee information that may be collected at this event will be used by Deluxe and its affiliates and subsidiaries for legitimate business purposes. Deluxe may also access and/or disclose information if we believe such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law or legal process served on Deluxe, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Deluxe (including the enforcement of our agreements), or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Deluxe employees or contingent staff, users of Deluxe services, or members of the public.
Code of Conduct
We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody. Deluxe expects all Exchange attendees to exercise common sense and good judgment at all times and to act responsibly, whether or not a written policy exists regarding specific behavior.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to conference organizers. Refunds will be issued less a 20% cancellation fee. The deadline for cancellations is Friday, January 6, 2018. Any Cancellation requests received after Friday, January 5, 2018 or no-shows are not entitled to a refund.
Substitutions are permitted prior to the conference. The request must be in writing via email to DeluxeExchange@itagroup.com and from the original registration.
Onsite Wireless Connectivity Policy
Use of the onsite Internet connection is intended solely for Exchange attendees. Unauthorized access or use may result in termination of your access, disciplinary action and/or civil or criminal penalties. To the extent permitted by law, your use may be monitored.
I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in the Exchange events and activities as my own free and intentional act and I am fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation in these events. I give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and that I am, as a result, able to participate in the Exchange events and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own wellbeing and safety.
By registering for and attending the Exchange, I hearby agree that I accept the terms stated above and, indemnify and hold harmless Deluxe, its affiliates and their respective directors, employees and agents (including, without limitation, any agent acting on its behalf) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from attendance at the Exchange.
